While quite a bit of a fuss was raised regarding the kidnapping, smuggling and tafficking in Haitian children and rightly so, the same can't be said about the fate of Iraqi children.
I have already written several posts about this new lucrative business in Iraq, that of the kidnapping, trafficking and trading of children, and I am always aghast to see that no media or organization for the protection of children, like the famous UNICEF or Save the Child or OXFAM or anyone else, has given enough attention and dedicated effort to denounce and stop this tragedy...
Of course, before our "liberation" such criminality involving the selling, buying, trading, kidnapping, killing of children was unheard of...am I to deduce that Freedom and Democracy are baby killers ? Am afraid so.
Hussein Anwar kindly forwarded this article a couple of months ago and I have been so busy with other things and only found the time today to translate it for you.
The article is dated 31.12.2009 and appeared on Al-Jazeera net. The title - Female gangs kidnap children.
I can't translate the whole article word for word but I will give you the most essential points:
Al Jazeeralearned through a correspondent in Baghdad, who wishes to keep his anonymity, that the rate of child kidnapping is on the rise and is being blacked out by the local and international media.
This criminal activity is taking place throughout Iraq and according to some of the figures obtained from Lieutenant Dia Sahee of the Ministry of Interior responsible for investigating such crimes : from January 1, 2009 until October 1, 2009, there has been 177 REPORTED cases of child kidnapping in different provinces excluding 72 reported cases in Baghdad alone.
These criminal rings employ women because women have easier access to children, either through their working or visiting maternities where infants are kidnapped, or through schools or domestic work, and sometimes it is through asking the child for some help or enticing him/her and then abducting them in cars, hiding them under the abaya until the kidnappers reach another province or their base. It seems that these highly organized rings have bases too.
A recent case was the arrest of 4 women from Samawa, Southern Iraq, who gave some information on the methods used.
Most of these children are kidnapped for a ransom, and when families do pay, they are explicitly told that if they report the case, their child will be either kidnapped again or killed. That explains why there are no official statistics - mainly because of fear of reprisal.
Other infants/children are never found. They are either sold to rich women who cannot have children but most others are traded in criminal organizations that traffic them and smuggle them outside the country for adoption or anything else...(like organ or sex trade maybe?!)
The article quoting an Iraqi editor of a newspaper then goes on to say that it is imperative that the government pays serious attention to this and takes stringent action/measures to combat this new crime that is plaguing Iraq. The article also says that both the local and international media must cover this.
Our little ones have become commodities.
Not only that 50% of Iraqi children today are illiterate, when we had erased illiteracy before 2003, not only they have no access to proper schooling, not only are they destitute, working to feed their families when they are supposed to be playing, not only are they found scavenging in dumps, not only are they suffering the terrible carcinogenic effects of radiation, nerve agents, DU thanks to the civilized West with NO access to health care, not only are they hungry without access to even proper drinking water - they drink water from the sewages...not only that over 500'000 are living in the streets and only God knows who is doing what to them with no protector, not only are they orphaned, like 4.5 million of them...not only...but they are also kidnapped, trafficked, traded in and killed....
How can you people sleep at night with a clear conscience when you know that this is the fruit of your doing ?
There are criminal rings in Baghdad that kidnap and traffic in children and you are nothing but their silent killers.

In certain times, when Iran has been allowed its own way without interference from the west its government was heavily governed by the strong Islamic faith. Although I detest the "churches' " interference with government, not to mention with every aspect of how one governs one's life, this is how Iran will remain without western - USA - interference. It can not be otherwise.
What, then is our fear of Iran? That the country not be governed by the dictatorial Shah of Iran implanted by the USA? The Shah was brought in from exile by the American CIA in 1953. He became a figure head while the American CIA created and managed the Shah's secret police for decades. Having created this secret police the CIA immediately purged Iran of people deemed 'undesirable' by America. The CIA killed hundreds in their initial purge of Iran and the Shah sat back, as a good puppet was meant to do and said nothing.
The cruelty of Americans upon the people of Iran didn't stop there. Of course not. This is America the Great! The CIA in Iran continued through decades killing people that had political leanings in opposition to being controlled by America. The CIA went so far as to take student activists to the roof tops of their schools and tossed to their deaths. Around the country many people were disappeared or executed in the streets. This is the Iran that the USA and Britain had created and this Iran continued until the Iranian revolution of 1979 - a time that Americans remember because of the student activist takeover of the American Embassy and taking hostage embassy workers for 144 day.
Yes, the hostage taking is what our media replays for us all the time. There is no news, here in the west, about the American cruelty inside Iran for decades leading up to the Iranian Revolution of 1979.
Iran became trapped into an Islamic dictatorship by the UK and the US over a long going dispute between Iran and the English. The UK had agreed by treaty to pay Iran a specified amount for the oil they took from Iran. The UK did not pay the agreed royalties and refused to do so. So a well liked man, Mossandeq, ran for office on a platform of nationalization of their oil industry and was duly elected the leader of Iran via democratic elections. Mossandeq was voted into power.
The UK, now fearing they may have to pay even higher royalties on the oil in Iran went to the USA for help. To make a long story short the USA disposed of the Mossandeq government and brought back the Shah of Iran and from there Iran became isolated state under USA control and dominated by the murdering CIA and the Shah.
Iran suffered greatly in the decades following the CIA coup of 1953 until the Iranian Revolution of 1979. Iran became a country changed and full of hatred toward the west. What else could this country feel after having the American band of CIA marauders killing whom they pleased for 28 years! But our media feeds an American insatiable appetite for how Americans are always picked upon and blamed for this and that so unfairly. Americans are scared by the truth.
In 1981 Iraq invaded Iran.
This once again was a setup for the USA to control Iran. It's not enough to say that America is oil hungry because America is power hungry and they want Iran back under their control. The American build up of weapons in Iran became in earnest as Ronald Reagan took the helm of the American warship. Not only did Reagan push tons on weapons into Iraq he managed to change some facets of the embargo upon Iraq to allow, not only for US weapons and war machines, but to allow for the import of chemical weapons of war. The exact route that was taken to create and bring to Iraq remains hidden but the use of such weapons against Iranian defenders on the own soil killed at on attack 3,000 soldiers. There were other attacks and Saddam Hussein, America's favourite adopted child of the time, killed Kurds with gas in the north. However, this remains to be classified as the murder of the Kurds or 'just' collateral damage as Iraq attacked Iranian troops pushing into Iraq from the north.
Suffice it to say the this American/Iraq war lasted 8 years and during that time hundreds of American military advisers were on the ground feeding the Iraqis tons of spy satellite information about Iranian troop movements. I can only assume that these photos showed more than an old military vehicle sitting dormant in the desert sands.
The audacity of war mongering American presidents is heavily substantiated by many wars in our world but America has proven to not be 'man enough' to stand up and proclaim its guilt. America continues on and gets agreements from other countries to back up its overt aggression. It requires not such backing for its covert activities.
If you're an American and are reading this, please don't pick up your computer and smash it upon the floor. It's much easier just to go on the net and find the truth. You can call me what you want - well beyond the natural limits of a "good Christian" if you feel the need. Nevertheless, the facts will remain the facts and the lies will remain the lies.

Report: Obama Ordered US Military Strike on Yemen
ABC News is reporting the US military bombed two sites in the Middle Eastern nation of Yemen on Thursday on direct orders from President Obama. The strikes are seen as a major escalation of the Obama administration’s campaign against al-Qaeda. US officials told ABC the target of the strikes was a pair of suspected al-Qaeda training camps. A human rights activist in Yemen said twenty-three children and seventeen women were among the sixty-four people killed. Earlier this month, President Obama hinted that Yemen could soon be attacked.
Where is Yemen some would ask. Well, it's certainly not close to Iraq or Afghanista that's for sure. This attack by the USA is an act of war (a war of aggression) and is threfore a war crime.

Revenge - so sweet
Our minds suffer greatly when our media shows us four Americans killed, their bodies burned and mutilated, torn apart and strung up for public view. Of course, not everyone cheered but the display was very similar to the media's presentation of Palestinian children dancing in the streets, happily celebrating the 9/11 horror. "Why," asked so many Americans, "Would they do this?" Most though just skipped this innocent question and went directly to hate. It seems Americans find this very easy to do. They've been doing it for a long time. They're so insular in their patriotism that the have little if any compassion for those abused by their "Great America" that it never crosses their minds that America has been the Scythe of Death for so many hundreds of thousands of people since the end of World War Two.
It's true. Since 9/11 killed approximately 3,000 people in an audacious display of 'terrorism' Americans have killed more than 100,000 mostly innocent people and have destroyed the lives of a hundred thousand or more families. Americans are wicked for revenge no matter that the people who suffer their revenge are completely innocent.
About 20 terrorists are held responsible for the 9/11 attack. Almost all were from Saudi Arabia to whom America sells billions of dollars worth of military weapons from time to time. So America decided to attack Iraq. Believe me this illegal invasion had nothing to do with how cruel Saddam Hussein was. America has never cared about a bad one of their puppet leaders was. America only worries about American interests!
Saddam had been a CIA terrorist asset since he was recruited in 1958 at the age of 22 and, in 1959 his was set up by the CIA terrorists to assassinate the Iraqi leader of the time General Quissam. He failed but not because he didn't try. He managed to kill the driver but only wounded Quissam. For the most part we can only guess how involved Saddam was with the CIA. We do know that he was heavily involved with Reagan when Reagan set him and his Iraq up to invade Iran. And this little American sponsored war went on for eight years. It included the use of chemical weapons that, if not supplied by America directly, were allowed because of America's changing of the laws with which Iraq was governed by the nations of the world.
It is interesting to note that Saddam was arrested and given a quick trial and hanged so quickly that we couldn't learn a thing about the true American involvement in his life. The reality of Saddam was quickly tucked away forever. We will never know all the secrets he may have been able to shed light upon if his soul had not so eagerly sent on.
Interestingly the hunt for Saddam showed the almost panic by the Americans to kill him. At one time it was rumoured that Saddam was visiting a certain restaurant in Baghdad. The Americans immediately set up a missile strike at this restaurant killing the restaurant owner and his family as well as his guests. But not Saddam Hussein. I ask you...what would empower a nation to kill people with such disdain? Saddam was on the run. He was no longer a power to be reckoned with. He was reduced to a little man. Yet, the USA just had to obliterate that small restaurant with children running around enjoying their childhood ways.
America's disdain for life is not new. Just look at what they've done throughout Central and South America through the past decades.
